Information
The IEM (Intel Extreme Masters) series tournament is one of the biggest and most awaited events in the professional scene of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament and is organized by ESL and sponsored by many big named companies.
The tournament featured the 16 best teams who will compete for the Grand Final and take home a whopping prize of $250,000 and a spot for the upcoming 2024 IEM katowice tournament.
Format
The group stage will be divided into two groups which will be played in a double-elimination format, each group consists of eight teams, all opening matches will be played in a best-of-one series and all following matches will be played in a best-of-three series.
The top three teams from each group will advance to playoffs; the first-place team will be seeded in the Semifinals, the second-place team in Quarterfinals high seeds, and the third-place team in the lower seeds Quarterfinals.
The playoffs will be played in a single-elimination bracket and all matches are played in a best-of-three series except for the Grand Final which is a best-of-five series.
