The PUBG Top Division Playoff has come to an end. Heading into the final week of the playoff Kitchen sat on a 29-point lead over second place team SKADE, who were the only team with a realistic chance to catch up to the previous season champions, with four games remaining. But Kitchen proved to be too strong this season as well, as they finished the final week with 44 points, which was enough to secure them their second Fragleague-title in a row with a solid 44-point margin.
Congratulations. How does it feel?
– Thank you. It feels great, it always feels great winning, says Rustanmar from Kitchen.
You played solid throughout the whole season. What are your thoughts about the season?
– We played our own game throughout the whole season and it really works for Fragleague. The season on our behalf was great, we had a lot of fun playing a loose and fun playstyle. Our expectations were to win a second championship in a row and we did that, so we are super happy with the season.
Any final words?
– We want to thank the Fragleague-team and everyone involved in the whole thing. And of course to all those who keep watching and supporting us in everything.
Young Danes, who was gunning for the top three, also managed to achieve what they set out to do. They claimed the most points (46) in the final week and thereby overtook their fellow countrymen In Control and finished in third place, only seven points behind SKADE. SKADE had a rough start to the final week and had to give up in the chase for first place but managed to grab their second win in the Top Division Playoff in the very last game, which gave them 29 points for the week and was enough to secure the second place over Young Danes.
