First week of the Fragleague Top Division Playoff is over and it was Kitchen that got the best start. Kitchen grabbed 47 points in total with 31 of them coming from their 21 kill win in game three on Miramar, which is a kill-record for this season of the Top Division.
– We had a decently slow start to the day but bounced back on the first Miramar. The key to success in that game was great communication and playing aggressive and taking all the advantages we could at any point with how rough the circle ended up being for us, says Rustanmar from Kitchen.
How was it playing in this lobby compared to the Top Division Group Stage?
– The lobby feels quite similar to the Top Divison Group Stage. It's mostly just different teams and teams in different places adjusting their loot spots in accordance with where the regional teams loot and what places opened up from the teams in Top Division that didn't make it in to the final.
Rise and Win, who won got second place in the Finnish Regional Division, also started off the season very strong by grabbing a win in the first game and is sitting in second place overall. The Danish Regional winners In Control also got off to a decent start as they are sitting in fifth place after some consistent games.
But overall, it was the heavy-hitters from the Top Division Group Stage that impressed during the first week with SKADE sitting in third place with 41 points with a nine-point gap down to Tempus on fourth place.
Most of the teams coming from the Regional Divisions had a rough start to the Top Division Playoff and five of the eight teams are currently in the bottom of the leaderboard, but there is still three weeks left to catch up.
