Last season ended with Kitchen, with Skuijke, Rustanmar, D1gg3r1 and Fexx, winning the Top Division and convincingly crowning themselves champions of the Nordic region. Second place went to Bystanders who played solid throughout the whole season, following Bystanders we saw some familiar teams such as SKADE (previously Saunabois) and Tempus, ending on a respectable third and fourth place, earning themselves some well-deserved prize money, at the cost of newcomers Vis who fell just short of the money, ending at fifth place.

We asked Rustanmar from Kitchen what expectations they have for the upcoming season.

— We intend on keeping up the same momentum that we had in the last Fragleague, so our expectations stay the same as last season. We want to repeat as champions.

Which teams do you see as your biggest threat?

— The team we have our eyes set on the most is probably SKADE. Mostly due to the "national pride" being on the line, with both of us being mainly Finnish.

On the other end of the leaderboard we saw some teams fighting for survival to stay up in the Top Division. EYEBALLERS and Way Below Average both managed to step it up in the latter part of the season and secured their spot for another season in the Top Division. However, Who Are You, Allan Oil, egg yolk and YMCA Esports, all fell short and ended up in the bottom four and were therefor relegated.

With that said, the four champions of the Regional Divisions in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland will join the twelve teams in the Top Division. Therefor we welcome FAKKAUR from the Swedish Regional Division, Norsemen from the Norwegian Division, Diskvalificeret from the Danish Division and YMCA Esports new roster (previously VASTA Gaming) from the Finnish Division. If these teams can continue their success in the Top Division, we will have to wait to find out.
