Information
ESL One New York will see eight of the best CS:GO teams in the world compete for the lions share of $250,000 total prize pool. The main event of the tournament will be held in the famous Barclays Center in Brooklyn on the 29th and 30th of September 2018.
The event is part of the Intel Grand Slam Season 1.
Format
Group Stage: Teams are seeded into two GSL-style double elimination groups of four teams each, with seeding based on the ESL CS:GO World Rankings. All matches are Best-of-Three, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.
Playoffs: Single elimination bracket. Semifinals are Best-of-Three, and the Grand Finals are Best-of-Five.
