PUBG Recap Week 5: The playoff teams are locked in

1
Here are the teams competing for the Fragleague PUBG Nordic Championship title.
The group stage is finished and we are now heading into the playoffs of the Fragleague PUBG Nordic Championship. Here is a recap of the last week of PUBG group stage action.

The reigning champions finish on top of the table

Last season’s champions Violet Aggressive Gorillas had a massive finish to the group stage racking up a total of 53 points – almost double the amount of points that the next best team MSALIEN managed to score.

Thanks to this impressive show, fueled by 17 kills from Boltmain and 13 kills from Curexi, the Gorillas finished the group stage on top of the table ahead of Young Danes, MSALIEN and Kitchen.

No changes in the 5–8th positions

Only the top 8 teams from the Nordic Championship group stage advance to the playoffs. Going into the last week of play there were a few teams who had a chance to advance in the standings and claim one of the top 8 spots.

However, none of the teams outside of the top 8 prior to the last match day managed to change the table. It’s Only Game, Where Team, and Room For Improvement did score more points than some of the top 8 teams but it wasn’t enough to challenge Formulation Gaming, Bystanders, Bitfix Gaming and Sakura Senzen who all held on to their spots in the playoffs.

8 fresh teams from the Nationals are joining in for the Nordic Championship playoffs

In the Nordic Championship playoffs the top 8 teams from the group stage are joined up with the top 2 teams from each National group stage. Here are the 8 teams coming in from the National groups.

Danmark Havik Esports
Danmark Chat Restricted
Finland YMCA Esports
Finland Rise And Wine
Norge Oisann!
Norge SiestaBoyz
Sverige Made In Malmo
Sverige Creed x Esports

The Nordic Championship playoffs will kick off on Sunday 27th of November starting at 13:00 CET.
