2023 IEM Cologne is the most awaited tournament of all-time organized by ESL, the world's largest esports company that is known as the great provider of world-class CS: GO tournaments around the globe. This year the tournament will split the trophy across four regional divisions: Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania. This time 24 of the world's best teams to be invited to this event and only 1 team can take home a whooping prize of $400,000 and will be qualified directly for the 2024 IEM Katowice.
Format
Play-In will be played in a double-elimination bracket, Opening matches are played in a best-of-one, and the following matches are played in a best-of-three series.
Group Stage will be played in a two-double elimination Format, All matches are played in a best-of-three series.
Playoffs will be played in a single-elimination bracket, All matches are played in a best-of-three series, Except the Grand finals which will be played in a best-of-five-series.
