The 2021 IEM Katowice is one of the biggest and most awaited event in the professional scene of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.
The tournament comes back this year with an even larger prize pool of $1,000,000 at stake.
As the teams from the previous months went head to head for 12 months and earn their spot and a chance to claim the crown and hail as champion!
Format
Play-In: will be played in a double-elimination bracket, and opening matches are played in the best-of-one series, while the following series are best-of-three.
Group Stage: is composed of two groups of eight, and each group is played in GSL format, and all matches are played in the best-of-three series.
Playoffs: will be played in the Single-elimination bracket, Quarterfinals and semi-finals are played in best-of-three while the Grand final is a best-of-five series.
