The 2020 Esl One Rio Minor Championship Europe also known as "Minors" are tournaments with a prize pool of $50,000 sponsored by Valve. They are qualifiers for the 2020 ESL One Rio and are separated into 4 different regions: Americas, Asia, CIS, and Europe.
Format
Group Stage
Group Stage will be composed of two groups and will play in a double-elimination (GSL) format.
Each group has 4 teams, opening matches are best-of-one while the following matches are best-of-three.
Top two teams of each group will advance to the Playoffs.
Playoffs
Playoffs will be played in a double-elimination bracket.
All matches are best-of-three and no grand finals will be played.
