The World Electronic Sports Games is a annual international tournament organized by Alisports. With National qualifiers with hundreds of teams slimmed down to a final 36 teams for when the main event comes around, the WESG is arguably the largest tournament in terms of scope.
A change in teams participating will be brought with this years WESG, where four of the main events participants will be directly invited. The main event will be in located in Chongqing, China in March 2019 with a prize pool of $ 890,000 on the line.

National Qualifiers:
Format differs depending on region, but the main qualifier format consists of single elimination brackets with Best-of-Three matches.
