Under helgen delades mängder av priser ut till streamers på The Streamer Awards 2022. En av profilerna som prisades på galan var den populära streamern Asmongold.
Asmongold tog hem pris i kategorin "Best MMORPG Streamer", en kategori som han var stor favorit att vinna på förhand. Då Asmongold inte kunde närvara på plats på galan hade han spelat in ett tacktal som i efterhand hyllats av bland annat Twitch-streamern Alok "Dr K" Kanojia.
I talet påpekar Asmongold att han förtjänar vinsten eftersom han i egenskap av MMORPG-spelare aldrig går utanför dörren.
