Fragbite Masters LAN finals viewer's guide

Throughout the weekend, we'll witness the spectacular conclusion of the Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Season 5 CS:GO tournament. In this viewer's guide, you'll find every valuable detail.
The time has come for the third ever Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem LAN finals as Season 5 ends this weekend. A total of four teams have, in their own ways, qualified for this weekend's event in Stockholm, Sweden, where they will be fighting for 500,000 SEK, which translates to approximately $57,400. The winners will go home with just below half of the sum.

Prize distribution

1. 225,000 SEK (approximately $25,800)
2. 125,000 SEK (approximately $14,300)
3. 90,000 SEK (approximately $10,300)
4. 60,000 SEK (approximately $6,900)
In the pre-season, we organized Fragbite Masters Championship Showdown. There, the two former LAN champions of Fragbite Masters, Fnatic and the former Team SoloMid squad called "?", went head-to-head for a direct spot in the Season 5 finals. That best of five match was won by Fnatic with a 4-1 result, meaning they were the first to directly qualify for Stockholm.

After that, the online portion kicked off, where NiP Gaming managed to win the Blue Bracket by defeating Team SoloMid in the bracket final. Then, in the Orange Bracket, the qualified team SK Gaming managed to upset G2 Esports as well as the Swedish team DenDD to deserve their spot in Stockholm. The last spot was up for grabs in the match between the two bracket runner-ups — Team SoloMid and DenDD — a battle the Danish squad won in a close three-map fight.

Participant's list

Sverige Fnatic
flusha, JW, olofm, krimz, dennis
Sverige NiP Gaming

Danmark SK Gaming
AcilioN, cadiaN, Friis, Magiskb0Y, MODDII
Danmark ?

Since Fnatic were the first to secure their spot for the finals, they have received the top seed, and will be playing against the former TSM team "?" in the first round since the Danes were the last to qualify. Though NiP Gaming and SK Gaming, who have earned the middle seeds, will face each other in the tournament opener.

The Fragbite Masters LAN finals will use a double elimination format with best of three maps in every round. This means that the team who loses drop down to the lower bracket, while the winning teams stay in the upper bracket. In the end, the grand finalist coming from the upper bracket will have an advantage in the veto process.
