Fragbite Masters will be back

SK Gaming qualify for FBM LAN finals

SK Gaming have successfully qualified for the upcoming Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem LAN finals. Now it's up to Team SoloMid and DenDD to fight for the final spot.
SK Gaming is the third team to secure a seat at the Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Season 5 LAN finals, where they will be accompanied by the Swedish teams Fnatic and NiP Gaming. Tonight, the fourth and final spot to the finals will be settled.

Defeated G2 in a three map series

Yesterday, the Danes of SK Gaming had a big task ahead of them as they were facing the major semifinalists team G2 Esports. However, the opponents played with the k1ck player Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes instead of Håvard "rain" Nygaard, who was unable to play. Things really started off well for the Danish squad as they defeated their opponents on the opening map, Mirage, with a close 16-14 result after getting 9-6 as terrorists.

G2 Esports then showed up with an answer in the second map, Dust2, where they won with 16-10. This meant Train was going to decide the match, and SK started off as the normally slightly inferior charging team. However, they did well as they got a fantastic start, and kept their cool throughout the first half, ending it with a 10-5 lead. When winning the following pistol round, it was more or less over.

DenDD put up a good fight

After beating G2 Esports, SK Gaming had to face DenDD in the Orange Bracket final, where the winner would receive an invite to the LAN finals. DenDD's way to the bracket final was a tad less spectacular, as they were handed a forfeit win against mousesports, who were unable to play their match against the Swedes.

The bracket final started off on Cobblestone, where the Swedish team started off with an impressive showing. They took the lead in the series with a 16-10 score after getting seven rounds on the CT side. SK then answered with yet another strong performance on Train, winning 16-6 after getting 11-4 as terrorists.

The series was going to be settled in the third map, Mirage. The Swedish side then looked like they would take the spot to the LAN finals as they won their opening CT side with a strong 11-4 result. However, the Danes didn't give up and managed to turn the match around, coming back and forcing the match to overtime. Their momentum then held on to the OT, which they won with 4-1 and therefore qualified.
