The exciting first edition of a Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Heroes of the Storm tournament has come to an end, with the Spanish squad Team Liquid defeating the qualified Swedes of Fnatic in the 40,000 SEK grand final. It didn't start off good for Liquid, however, as they lost both the first and the second map in the best of five series final. At this point the Durán brothers and their three team mates put in a new gear, and managed to come back from their deficit, winning the series 3-2.

This means Team Liquid's Juan "VortiX" Moreno Durán, who lost the grand final of the StarCraft II tournament back in Fragbite Masters Season 2, finally gets an FBM title under his belt. By doing this, his team also receives 40,000 SEK, approximately 4,600 USD, as a price. The runner-ups in Fnatic will have to settle with 20,000 SEK, which translates into 2,300 USD.
In the third place decider, Team Spartanien managed to defeat Team Dignitas with a 2-0 score line, grabbing 10,000 SEK and the last spot at the podium, while Dignitas get 5,000 SEK for their troubles.
