On Wednesday night, the semi finals of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem played out, with Fnatic facing Team Dignitas and Team Spartanien facing Team Liquid. In the first of the two matches, Fnatic managed to best their British opponents with a 2-0 score line. The second semi final was a bit tighter, as three matches were demanded before Team Liquid could advance with a 2-1 score, in spite of being down 0-1 after the first match.
Tonight, we will have our victors. At 18:00 CET, the bronze match between Team Dignitas and Team Spartanien will be played in a best of three format, followed by the best of five grand final between Fnatic and Team Liquid. The winner of the third place decider will go home with 10,000 SEK, approximately 1,150 USD, while the fourth placed team will have to settle with half as much. In the grand final, the winning team will earn 40,000 SEK, which translates into 4,600 USD, while the runner-ups get half as much.
