Yesterday saw group B of the Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Heroes of the Storm tournament play out, where Team Spartanien and Team Dignitas managed to advance to the semi finals. Spartanien met the last minute team Kiev6-1 in the first round, and secured a solid 2-0 win over them. In the winner's match, they also managed to beat Team Dignitas, who beat Virtus.pro in the round before, with 2-0.
After Spartanien had secured the first spot in the group, it was up to Dignitas and Virtus.pro to play for the second spot. At this point, Kiev6-1 had been eliminated via a 1-2 loss against Virtus. In the deciding game, Team Dignitas proved to be a little superior, winning with 2-1 and securing the final semi final spot.
These results mean we have our four semi finalists, who will be facing each other tonight. In the first semi final, the qualified group A winners in Fnatic will face Team Dignitas in a best of three match, followed by the second semi final between Team Spartanien and Team Liquid. The winners will advance to the grand final, which is played tomorrow on Thursday the 19th of November.
