The final match of the Orange Bracket quarter finals in Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Season 5 has been settled, as SK Gaming manages to defeat FlipSid3 Tactics with a 2-1 scoreline. This means SK Gaming advance to the semis, where G2 Esports awaits.

FlipSid3 snatched Mirage

The opening map, Mirage, which was SK's pick, didn't go the Danish squad's way. In spite of winning the pistol round thanks to a huge three frags by Casper "cadiaN" Møller and getting a big 5-0 lead as terrorists, FlipSid3 proved to be way too strong on the map. In half time, FlipSid3 had made a comeback, wining the half 8-7. Now, it was their turn to attack, and they did it well. Solid play from Vadim "DavCost" Vasilyev got them over the finish line without a hiccup, meaning they took the 1-0 lead with 16-7.

SK got their revenge on Train

The second map was FlipSid3's choice, and it landed on Train. There, SK Gaming got to start the ever so dominating CT side, and took advantage of that advantage. They didn't only win the pistol round, but a phenomenal eleven traight rounds before FlipSid3 got their first point on the score board. However, that single point was followed by another three, meaning it was 11-4 to SK Gaming in half time.

SK Gaming then won the following, oh so important pistol round, going up to 12-4. Even though FlipSid3 managed to win the following force buy, the score quickly went 15-5 in favor of SK. They usually say that "it's not over until the fat lady sings", and boy was she a mute in this game. FlipSid3 actually got really close to a comeback, getting a total of 13 rounds before SK managed to put the final nail in the coffin and move the game to a third decider.

Inferno settled it all

The final map was Inferno, where SK Gaming showed quite an offence as terrorists. After FlipSid3 won the pistol round and got a 2-0 lead, it was basically the SK Gaming show. The two-round deficit became a seven-round lead for the Danish team in half time. Once again, however, the fat lady was silent. FlipSid3, now as terrorists, almost came back from the 4-11 deficit by winning six straight rounds as the charging team. At this point, every other round went to both teams, which evidently meant SK Gaming took the win with 16-12 and 2-1 in maps.


This means SK Gaming are through to the Orange Bracket semi finals. G2 Esports will be the Danish team's opponent, while mousesports and DenDD will face each other on the other side of the bracket.
