Yesterday, the main tournament of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Season 5 Heroes of the Storm kicked off. Group A was played out, with teams like Team Liquid, G2 Esports, ROCCAT and Fnatic participating — and it ended up being a qualified team advancing at first place.

In the first round, three-fifths Swedish team Fnatic managed to beat the Spanish-German Team Liquid with a 2-0 scoreline. They then moved on to win against the Polish G2 Esports, who overwhelmed ROCCAT in the first round, in a close 2-1 series. Therefore, Fnatic won the group and secured themselves a spot in the semi finals. As Team Liquid managed to defeat ROCCAT 2-0, they had their final chance of advancing via a match against G2 Esports. That match indeed went the Durán brothers' VortiX and LucifroN's way, as Team Liquid took the spot with a 2-1 win.

This means Fnatic and Team Liquid are through to the playoffs, where the top two finishers of Group B will be their opponents. In Group B, Natus Vincere, Team Dignitas, Team Spartanien and Virtus.pro will fight for the spots. This group will be played on Tuesday the 17th of November, don't miss it!
