While the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament is plowing its way towards the LAN finals, we introduce a new title for the fifth edition of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem. The title is none the less than the Blizzard Entertainment MOBA title Heroes of the Storm.
The tournament will consist of eight teams — four invited and four qualified — and will be played completely online from 10th of November and nine days forward, ending on the 19th of November. The prize purse contains 75,000 SEK, which translates into approximately 8,700 USD, or 8,000 EUR, spread out amongst the top four finishers. The eventual winners will grab 40,000 SEK.
A fun fact for our StarCraft II fans is that the Fragbite Masters Season 2 runner-up Juan "VortiX" Moreno Durán, as well as his brother Pedro "LucifroN" Moreno Durán, will once again compete in FBM, but this time in Heroes of the Storm instead of StarCraft II.

As previously mentioned, there will be eight teams participating in this kick-off tournament, half of which have been invited by Fragbite Masters. These teams are some of the very best that Europe have to offer; Team Dignitas with basis in Great Britain, the European mixture in Natus Vincere, Spanish Team Liquid and G2 Esports from Poland. These four teams have already been divided into two groups.Prize distribution

In both qualifiers, the two best teams go through to the main tournament, which starts on November 12th. The qualifiers are open for anyone to compete in, and will be played with a single elimination best of one format, with semi finals being played best of three.
