Information

Riot Games is hosting their fourth Mid Season Invitational, the second largest international tournamen tin the professional LOL Circuit and it's being hosted in Europe this year split between Germany and France.

The tournament features 14 teams from different leagues from all around the world and the action will begin in the EU LCS studios in Berlin with the Play-in stage and the groups and playoffs will be played in the Zenith Paris La Vilette arena in Paris and the Prize pool for the event is yet to be announced and the action is set to beign on the third of May.

Format

Play-Ins Groups

Two double round robin groups.

Best-of-one matches.

Winner of each group moves on to the play-ins knockout stage.

Play-Ins Knockout

The LMS and VCS teams are seeded into this stage.

Single best-of-five series, winners qualify for the main event.

Group Stage

LCK, LPL, NA LCS, EU LCS teams are seeded into this stage.

Single group double round robin.

Best-of-five matches.

Top four moves on to the playoffs.

Playoffs

Single elimination bracket with best-of-five series.
