Norsemen has stepped up their game and is sitting in eight place going into last week of the group stage in the PUBG Nordic Top Division of Fragleague. We talked to PartyBeetle from Norsemen to hear his thoughts.
In last week SKADE managed to grab the most points for the second week in a row. But there was also a lot of changes in the leaderboard, one of them being Norsemen jumping into the top eight. Norsemen has been stepping up their game in the last two weeks, claiming the second most points in week three and the fifth most points in week four, and is currently in the cut-off spot for the Top Division Playoff.
We talked to PartyBeetle from Norsemen to hear his thoughts going into the last week of the group stage.
You guys have had decent last two weeks and are currently sitting in eight place going into the last week of the group stage and it’s super close in the standings, what will you have to focus on to keep your spot?
– I don’t really think there is any one thing we are focusing on. If we play our best and get some zones I think we can make it. It has become super close because other teams have choked so it also depends on them not waking up and taking a lot of points, PartyBeetle explains.
If you make it to the Top Division Playoff, what will be your goal? What placement would you be satisfied with?
– To be honest, we are just happy to be there! I hope we can at least show that we deserve to be there (top 10 would be our goal I guess). It is always a horrible feeling when you play with so much respect you don't play at all.
Is there any team that you have your eyes set on or are worried about, going into the last week of the playoff?
– The only teams I am worried about is the ones that know they are safe (Kitchen, SKADE and Tempus). They play without any fear or worries so they will play much better than 70% of the other teams that have to worry about getting points. Pressure is a hell of a thing!
