You have encountered an error
This error can be caused when an account is not eligible for access to a page, by a technical problem, or due to an application being unavailable.
If you are attempting to purchase World or Warcraft or The Burning Crusade online, please be advised that the online upgrade feature is unavailable while some improvements are being made to the system. However, accounts can still easily be upgraded to retail accounts by purchasing boxed copies of World of Warcraft or The Burning Crusade- available at retailers everywhere.
If you have already purchased a retail copy of World of Warcraft, you can enter your key at the bottom of the Account Management page, located here. If you wish to enter a retail key for The Burning Crusade, you can do so here
If you wish to access the 'Recruit-a-Friend' application, please note that only accounts based in Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, UK, Norway, Sweden, Greece, Ireland and Spain are eligible to "Recruit-A-Friend." Players from outside of these countries, players with trial accounts, or with full accounts with five referrals from the "Recruit-A-Friend" currently pending, are also ineligible.
