Uppmaning till serveradmins med cvar chk

Det har väl knappast undgått de flesta att nätkoden nu är ändrad i 1.6 men de flesta verkar fortfarande inte veta vad som ändrats och vilka förändringar det innebär, så jag ber serveradmins att läsa följande:
"A lot of rumours about Counter-Strike 1.6 and its netcode has been spread. bds has posted a detailed look at the changes to the CS 1.6 netcode. Many of the changes are fixes or enhancements that a lot of users have been waiting for including the much debated ex_interp cvar.
In Counter-Strike 1.5 the best value to use for ex_interp is default, 0.1. That is because of a small bug (on both the client and server) that affected how the interp was factored into the client and sent to the server (and because of that how it was factored into the lag compensation amount by the server).
As some of you already know the net code will change in Counter-Strike 1.6. The math which the client and server do for the lag compensation has been changed. With the old bug you could get up to half of a players bounding box inaccuracy and even higher with ex_interp set to something else than 0.1. This is fixed in version 1.6, meaning you can change ex_interp and not getting any unfair advantages."
Därmed ber jag alla admins att "låsa upp"/ta bort cvar checken på ex_interp.
Är ganska trött på att spela med fel ex_interp.
