Steam Problem och Lösningar
Okej, efter de senaste dagarna med massor av steam problem så tycker jag att en sån här tråd behövs. Skriv era lösningar på olika problem med steam ungefär såhär :

Problem : "Could not connect to steam network" När man försöker starta Steam
Uppstår : Oftast efter en ominstallation men kan hända ibland annars med.
Lösning : Kolla i C:/program/steam/steamapps ( C:/program/ kan vara anorlunda ) om du har platform.gfc där. Om den saknas så får du tanka den av en kompis funkar inte det så radera clientregistry.blob i din steam mapp och starta om steam. I värsta fall får du installera om steam, men gör en backup på din counter-strike mapp och lägg tillbaka den när du installerat om.

Be någon snäll kompis zippa ner sin SteamApps mapp och skicka den till dig.
Byt nu namn på kontomappen (dinkompis@host.not) till ditt eget acount (du@host.not)
Starta om steam och hoppas!

Notera att kompisen måste ha uppdaterat cs till nyaste updaten för att det ska funka!

Problem : Det går inte att updaters Steam eller något av spelen.
Uppstår : När Steam känner för det ( :P )
Lösning : Radera clientregistry.blob i din steam mapp och starta om steam.

Problem : "This game is currently unavalible" När man försöker spela något spel
Uppstår : Efter updateringar av Steam.
Lösning : På detta problem finns många lösningar. Kolla så att tiden och datumet på din dator stämmer. Tanka om platform.gfc av en polare. Radera clientregistry.blob och låt steam updatera om sig. Avinstallera bara CS och installera om det.

Okej nu är det eran tur. Problem och lösningar. Jag kommer updatera detta inlägg med era lösningar och problem. Inga CS buggar eller problem ingame CS här. Bara steam.

Allmänt när du har ett problem präva starta om steam några gånger / starta om din dator nån gång och se om det funkar.

Pay attention take it slow have patiens ( I know how can I ask a bunch of CS, DOD, HL, .... To have patiens. ) Patiens my Ask me no questions I am going to kill something.

OK here it is.

REMEMBER DO NOT START ANY GAMES UP UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO DO SO!!!
In these Instructions this is very important

1. Log out and Exit Steam.
2. Take this slow.

3. Delete the following files. half-life engine.gcf, half-life.gcf, and half-life-localized.gfc
NOTE: I may have spelled the last one wrong as it is gone from my list all together.
This is in the SteamApps Folder. Don't worry about the other ones.

EDIT: Also remove the Platform.gcf / You may not need to remove the half-life.gcf, and half-life-localized.gfc

4. Restart your computer.
5. Do Not Go On line other than to be able to get steam online. Preferably without AOL or other web browsers on.
6. Start up steam and leave it alone!
NOTE: DO NOT try and start any of the Games!
7. Look at steams box in lower right hand corner are there ..... at the top?
Yes / GOOD go to # 11, No / wait awhile, If still No Go to # 8
8. Open the games window. Do Not Open any games yet! this is were you need patients
9. Click on HL to start game let it load leave it alone this is going to take awhile.
HL will load it will Finnish loading and a button will pop up to Finnish click it.
10. Again DO NOT try and Start any Games! Do not go into or start the HL game close the box!
11. Right Click on Half Life then click on properties check and see if under
Status has ### Kbs, this is a good sign especially if it is showing activity LEAVE IT ALONE!!! PATIENTS wait till it says ready to play.
Amount Required has ###%, This is a good sign especially if it is going UP. Again Leave it alone wait till it reads 100%
Off Line Mode says Ready. This is a real good sign.
12. After you get these check each game to see it they are up dating by checking the properties. Do Not Open Any Game to Play!
13. If other games and up dating and the dots ..... are above the steam icon in lower right hand corner this is good BUT again DON'T OPEN or Play any games till they have either loaded all the way or got stuck.
14. If none of the other games are loading and HL is loaded. Ready to play, 100%, ready then if you have waited at least 1-2 minuets after this then click on HL to play it.
Let it open up all the way wait a minuet then go in am play on a server for a little bit then change servers at least once.
15. quite HL game
16. Start HL game go to at least 1 server play awhile.
17. quite HL game
18. Log out exit steam.
WAIT
19. Open steam log in.
Wait
20. Check to see if dots ..... are above the steam icon in lower right hand corner
21. Check each game to see it they are up dating by checking the properties.

22. Yes, leave it alone till they up date read # 13 & 14.

23. No go to # 14-18 after 18 then restart your computer.

REMEMBER DO NOT START ANY GAMES UP UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO DO SO!!!

24. #'s 5, 6, 7, 8. skip 9 & 10 then 11 & 12 If games are loading don't touch or do anything leave it alone this takes patiens I know you want to play but trust me. wait till each game is ready to play 100% ready. wait an additional 1-2 Minuets then try and play always log out and exit before shutting down your computer at least for the next couple of times.

25. If they are not loading and are stuck again Retest HL play it again ETC then quite HL.
26. Log out again.
27. Shut down your computer then restart it do # 24 again

29. Once all games reach Ready to play, 100%, ready wait 1-2 minuets then try and play them 1 at a time follow the directions as for HL above.

If this did not work for you, you then either you have another problem or you were not patient enough to follow these directions.

Suggestion Print these out so you have them in hand when you work on your computer to get the games up don't try and do this by memory.

The problem seems to be that we were trying to get in to fast and jammed the upload up and that is why I have said take your time be patient or you may never play take it easy it took me several hours to do all these steps and try and remember what they were so I could write them for you all.

If you have other problem with this I will try and help but that seems to be what happened here.
