dupreeh could play for Team Sweden in World Championships

1
Team SoloMid superstar Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen has applied for a Swedish citizenship. Now, there's a possibility of him representing Team Sweden in the E-Frag.net's 2015 World Championships.
"If I get the chance, I will take it", he tells Fragbite.
Last week, E-Frag.net presented the team captains for their 2015 World Championships, a 100,000 dollar tournament with 77 nations competing. The Swedish banner will be flagged by fnatic's Markus "pronax" Wallsten, who has a wide smorgasbord of world class players to choose from. This oasis of talent might even come to expand with a certain Danish profile.

Fragbite have learned that the Team SoloMid star player Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen has applied to become a Swedish citizen, as he will be moving there in due time.

"There are a few reasons, but the main ones are probably my love for IKEA, köttbullar and korv", dupreeh tells Fragbite, as a joke of course.

"Jokes aside, it’s pretty simple. I am going to live together with my girlfriend, and since we’ve decided to live in Sweden, and not Denmark, why not become a Swedish citizen? There are a fews pros and cons about it, but I am excited about it for sure. I’ve been living here on and off for about 6 months now, and so far I’ve really enjoyed it."

Might be playing for the national team

The potential dual citizenship obviously puts a lot of questions in mind, and the most current subject would be E-Frag.net's World Championships 2015. When Fragbite asks the question regarding the world-wide tournament, Rasmussen gives us quite an unexpected answer.

"If I get the chance, I will take it. I know the majority of the Swedish top players briefly from all the events, but I am yet to get to know them more than just on the surface."

Considering Team SoloMid is one of the hottest CS:GO teams in the world right now, with recent tournament wins at PGL's CS:GO Championship Series as well as FACEIT League, you'd expect their star player to have a given spot in the Swedish national team. The Danish talent doesn't really glow with confidence in the question when it comes to being offered a spot, though.

"I'd understand if they prefer an all-Swedish lineup, since the language-barrier would be non-existent then. I don’t have a problem understanding Swedish in most occasions, but then again, they might have a problem understanding my Danish or my borderline-retarded attempt of speaking Swedish, but who knows! It would be fun to try."

The ultimate Swedish national team lineup

When Fragbite keeps the conversation going by asking which Swedish five he would find the strongest in a World Cup-like context, he mentions quite a few superstars. The NiP veterans Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg are included, as well as the well known fnatic trio Olof "olofm" Kajbjer, Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Freddy "krimz" Johansson.

"Wouldn’t mind myself in the equation, if I were to be in in Team Sweden, but I think this lineup is the best."

When asked the same question regarding the Danish national team, he chooses not to mention names when it comes to his own team. Three optional Team SoloMid players together with Jacob "Pimp" Winneche and Philip "aizy" Aistrup is, to him, the ultimate Danish five in the national team tournament.

If we get to see dupreeh play for Sweden in World Championships 2015 or not is for the future to show. So far, no players other than pronax has been announced for the national team, so there is a lot of excitement to look forward to.
