Information

The 2018 Intel Extreme Masters Season XIII - Shanghai is the first Counter-Strike Global Offensive event hosted by Intel and ESL in China. As per tradition eight of the best teams in the world will be competing for a $ 250,000 prize pool.

Format

Main event

Group Stage:

The eight final teams are split up into two GSL-style groups of four (Seeding is based on the ESL CS:GO World Rankings). All matches are Best-of-Three with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.

Playoffs:

Single elimination bracket. Semfinals are Best-of-Three and Grand Finals are Best-of-Five.
