Information

The ELEAGUE Europe Minor is a part of the upcoming major in CS:GO, this is the platform for the European teams not invited to either the Major Group Stage or the Major Qualifier to qualify for the Major qualifiers for a chance at the Major.

The Europe Minor is one of four minors, the other three are the Americas, CIS and Asia minor. Each of the minors will be sending two teams to the Major Qualifiers, the prize pool for the minors are $50,000 USD.

Ahead of the European Minor there will be an Open and a Closed Qualifier to decide the eight teams participating in the Minor in PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania.

Format

Open Qualifier

Single elimination bracket with best-of-three matches, to 8 moves on to the Closed Qualifiers.

Closed Qualifiers

Eight invited teams and eight teams from the open qualifier plays a Swiss-style tournament with the top 8 moving on to the Group stage.

Group Stage 

Two groups of four.

GSL Style brackets with round one and winners match played as best-of-one and the other series are best-of-three.

Playoffs

Double Elimination bracket with all series being best-of-three matches.
