International Information
The Esports Championship Series, Season 4 is about to begin and is one of the biggest events for this year. ECS Counter-Strike league will start on August 17, 2017.
The tournament will start with open qualifiers for both North America and Europe, and the top qualifiers will advance to the ECS Season 4 Development League. The Development teams will face the two lowest ranked teams from the previous ECS season.
Format
The Open Qualifiers starts with North America and Europe, the two best teams from these qualifiers will advance to the ECS Season 4 Development League.
Development Leagues is composed of four qualified ones joined by four invited ones. The team will play each other in a Best-of-Two Round Robin format, and the two top teams from each region will advance to the Best-of-Five playoffs.
