Tja! Behöver lite hjälp. Hoppas ni förstår min kassa engelska men har coppat direkt från ventrilosupportforumet och har tyvärr dåligt med tid att hinna skriva en ny.

Problemet är att ventrilo laggar, som helvete, men inget annat? Någon som haft samma? Alla förslag på lösningar är välkommna.

I have a very strange problem. My Ventrilo lags, usally aboute 50% of the time i am connected to a server. I spikes about 15000ping and my usal ping is about 15.


The strange part is that when i do play counter-strike at the same time, a cant feel thoose 15000ping. I cant feel any at all. Possible like +10ms but nothing bigger?

Maybies my Mozilla loads the sites a bit slower also.

When i run tracert in cmd at the same IP as the ventriloserver, there is maybies 1/50 that says about 200ms at the first traceroute. So even if it lags like 5000ping in ventrilo, and i run a tracert, it shows like 15ms all the way trough to final route.

The problem is the same even if i dont runt any games or other programs steeling bandwithd like MSN mIRC etc.

This problem just "came" over a night, and its the same at both my and my brothers computers, so it´s not just on mine. I have the problem if my brothers computer is off, and he´s if mine is off.

1. Im running XP PRo

2. I have a ALC 850 soundcard "onbord" on my nVIDIA SLI-Deluxe nFORCE 4 mobo.

3. It´s the same if i play any game or not.

4. I do have the same config at Ventrilo that i have since i first installed it. I have tried not using PTT and usin direct sound without any change.

5. Im running the 3.0.5 version, but i have the same problems at 2.1.4 at several servers that i run through ventrilomix.

6. I have called my ISP and they say it´s all normal signals, and the cables are just fine. I´v got TELIA 24MB and loads about 17/2 with 12ms at "www.bredbandskollen.se"
