Plz.

"I checked out the rankings, it counts tournaments all the way back to ESL One Cologne 2014 and Gfinity 3. Teams that changed org, for example Dignitas->TSM don't have any of their points from when they were dignitas, despite the fact that the roster is completely different. All of those points go to the new dignitas lineup instead. Also, the "sophisticated ranking system" is tailored to teams that attend every tournament and bomb out in groups rather than teams that attend 1 out of every 4/5 tournaments and win them(see VP at #2). Their classification of what is a Tier 1/2/Grand event is a little odd, as their events seem to be weighed a bit heavily towards the higher end, even in the case of the ESL Pro League Winter, with its $50000 prize pool, largely online portion, and lack of Fnatic and NiP, who at the time were #1 and #3 in the world. Finally, as the previous point hints, online results are taken into account in these rankings. We all know how stupid that is.
tl;dr ESL, your rankings are shit, and have numerous problems that need to be fixed."
