Hej, jag har en engelsk kompis, som skulle villa ha hjälp att hitta ett spel, han spelade för ett x antal år sen.
Om ni vet något om spelet, skriv gärna i tråden :)
Ok, i've been searching for this old arcade game for about 10 years lol... yes 10 years.. I remember playing this game at the arcade a couple of times and i totally fell in love with it. One day i came back to the arcade place, and they had switched out the game and i never got to know what it was called. Sad story, i know :(
I have memories of some bits and pieces of the game, but I don't know much of advanced levels, unfortunately i wasn't really good at that time so it was hard for me to go past the first level lol..
Anyway, this is a 2D shooter similar to "Contra" for nes and snes, your guy starts off standing on top of the hood of a jeep, driven by another guy, and a girl (maybe very blurry memories there) its a green jeep, the first enemies are ninjas colored differently purple and red, (again blurry memories here) , and some of them drop small keys (which are collected to earn weapons and ammunition at the end of the level). One very important thing that might set this game apart from others is, that you can actually "lock" your weapon in an angle, for example you can have your weapon aiming the upper right corner, and when u move ur guy towards the front or down, ur weapon remains aiming towards the upper right corner.
The first boss, or one of the first bosses is a vehicle/tank type of thing, in order to destroy it, you must first hit and destroy the middle part of its armor and then unveil it's weak point, the boss its placed lower middle of the screen and u enter the boss area by using a ladder which is located once u enter the boss room in the top middle, the boss moves side to side on the same spot, and you can get under it and shoot it from underneath.
Lastly, when u defeat the boss u enter this room, which has all kinds of guns and ammunition and power ups, sealed on these glass "see-tru" enclosures and u can acquire em by using the keys u obtained throughout the level. The amount of keys required to obtain the item its shown at the bottom of each, in order to obtain them you have to jump and "touch" the item and it will shoot flying in the air, and u have to catch it in the air, otherwise it will disappear from the screen.
