För junk52s del var det spelaravhoppen som ställde till det, under den senaste tiden har de blivit av med spelare, bland andra Kaamos och ruuit, och de kände att de inte längre ville ha kvar CS-sektionen. Borta på deras hemsida har de även publicerat ett pressmeddelande där de berättar mer ingående om nedläggningen av laget. Hela pressmeddelandet finns att tillgå ett par steg nedåt.

Now it's official: Junk52.cs no longer exists! First Omaster departed the team, and soon after that Kaamos left for Astralis, the remaining members of the Counter-strike team removed their tags and left our channels. We can't confirm that they folded but it seems that. Atleast what we've heard they have no intentions to continue together. This was our third Finnish team in a very short while. This will only strengthen our opinion and vision about finnish Counter-Strike scene which eventually is not capable to work for their fame and succes. There is no easy way to the victory.
We will most likely recruit a new team and try once again, but we can't say when that is going to happen. The only thing we can say now is that when we recruit a new team, it will be a foreign team (junk52 is a finnish organisation).
