Gotfrag har gjort en intervju med bootman där det tas upp frågor om varför han lämnade laget. I intervjun berättar bootman att shaGuar, inte tyckte han var särskilt nödvänlig i laget och att detta var en av anledningarna till att han lämnade laget. bootman berättar även att han gärna coachar ett nytt lag om han får chansen. Perhaps 3D's biggest roster change was the addition of shaGuar. Griffin is known to be a very strong willed player and not a fan of outside suggestions. Did you foresee a conflict of interest between you and shaGuar?Mer information och intervjun hittar ni på Gotfrag.
This is one of the main reasons I left. We were not getting along well. We had disagreements about strats, and he didn’t really see the use for me on the team either. This came as a shock to me when himself and Mikey joined seeing as how they have been good friends of mine for quite some time now. I was excited to have them on board, but when we started the practice, it was the biggest reason I left.

What mistakes, if any, would you attempt to correct if you had a chance to coach Team 3D again, having all the knowledge and experience you do after the fact?
Who knows. One thing that lead towards my decision was when we had our first practice with the two new guys and I brought up a problem that we’ve always had on de_inferno and I was yelled at and told "we're not going to talk about problems the old team had, this is a new team, we’re starting fresh", I replied with "just because we replaced one player, doesn’t mean the problem is nonexistent…", then I was told I was being counter-productive.
