Can you explain, in greater detail, what was the reason for Melvin having to leave the team?
For quite along time we (the team) and Melvin had pretty much different opinions how the game should be played and so on. Even this started along time ago I think it was like a marriage, the longer you go on the less you want brake up. So we took the problems as they were and thought that it's better to keep the lineup as it is.
We talked about it first after cxg, came to the conclusion that he will change, now we waited and it seems he didn't, so this was the only option we had left.
Was the decision solely the team's or was Melvin also involved in the decision making?
When we did the decision melvin wasn't involved, after that we explained it to him, but even we talked about it for i think 3 hours it was already too late.
So we knew the ending result before we took the thing up with melvin, not like the time before.
How did Melvin react to your decision?
Of course he was very sad, like all of us, and as most often the person him self isn't as aware of the problem as the others are, even it was a common subject which we disqussed quite often among the team.
Does this roster change have anything to do with you losing to astralis at Tiltgames?
I can't say that it doesn't have anything to do with it, since if we would have won we would have most likely continued with the current lineup even with the problems, after the loss it just felt that why live with the problems and lose when you can maybe play without problems and lose or even play without problems and win.
Did diGitaL approach you or was it the other way around? Did you already have him in mind when Melvin left?
Digital has regretted that he left LQi/DSky for GoL for the last 7months and would have wanted to join back... so now when the spot opened the discussion was quite short.
What does the future hold for Destination Skyline? Which events have you got on your calendar?
CPL Summer at least, about the Finnish ESWC Spot.. no-one really knows atm who will have it, hopefully we will win the qualifier for WCG..
And then there are always some smaller LAN's which we will most likely attend like before CPL at Greece.
