How come Morphic eSports were founded?
Basicly we are bunch of old friends from the CS world. Me, Robin, scratch & deface were playing in All* for a period of time + we know axi0n.. so this felt a fun idea.
Plus Mccorn is our friend from even further.. and he wanted to help us out with everything outside playing. Our manager + bodyguard (If I were you I wouldn't try fighting him ;). Never forget sorsa our apprentice who has a lot of potential to become a very good player, we're aiding him in that as much as possible.
A "fun idea" - so this is a clan for a couple of friends having fun playing CS? No aims at becoming a pro-gaming-clan?
Sure why not, I mean we have the man power definetly ;). But we like to live in the day, so at the moment we are just 100% trying to prepare for MindTrek CPL qualifier. We have 3 of us coming back from a break, namely scratch, Robin & axi0n.
Where did you get the name "Morphic eSports" from?
From "TheoMorphic" which was a clan that later joined All* . Morphic eSports just clicked right and felt right in our opinnion, therefore we took this name :)
So you don't really know what "Morphic" means?
TheoMorphic means Godlike abilities, so aparently that is the Godlike or abilities ;) It sounds good, that's the mainpoint :)
Could you tell us which players the team consists of and each players' role in the clan?
Sure. natu(cl), axi0n (vcl), scratch, deface, Robin, mccorn(m) & sorsa (waterboy/apprentice)
Since a lot of the members have taken some time off from CS, do you think you can still keep up with the elite?
I have no doubts we wouldn't be able to be one of the elites. I saw scratch playing after 8 month break and I wasn't really sure if he had been practicing secretly. The others, axi0n & Robin - they have had a less break.. Robin only over a month 'n axi0n about 3 months. I'm sure we have no probs getting everyone in shape.
Have you got any sponsors to back you up, will there be any (more) in the future?
Our weaponary is sponsored by mccorn, naeh but no we haven't got anything set up right yet... future will tell us what'll happen :)
