How come Nine-Friends joined with xPerience to become xPerience.de? Who started the conversation and so on?
OK, the head management of xPerience decided to get a new German division for xP because the sponsrship and economic situation in Germany to get mainsponsors is much better than in Sweden. So we thought for a long while and found nine-friends. We can well say they are one of Germany's top teams.
Did you have any other teams in mind except Nine-Friends?
Yeah, we did.
Would you mind telling me which?
biowar.berlin was the only one. Because we searched for a team that are really friends and come from the same town to play on LAN-cafe, and we found it with nine-friends. By the way, this weekend we will bootcamp in Essen, so if someone wants to see us you are welcome.
What are your expectations on the performance of the new xPerience.de-team?
They will attend all major German LAN-events (especially the EPS LAN-finals with 30 000 $ cash price) and rock some online events.
You sound pretty confident, what if they don't live up to your expectations? What will happen then?
They will live up to our expectations cause they are a German top squad :) They won some LAN:s and are attending the EPS (like SEL) really succesfull. Last season they placed 3rd after mouz and mTw.
How far does xPerience's sponsorship stretch? Will the team get paid travels and such?
Yeah, they will. We are in contact with some big companies.
Does this affect the situation of the Swedish xPerience-team in any way? May there be some rivalry between the Swedish and the German team?
No, both teams will work together. If we have the sponsor we will bootcamp together and something else. I think at this moment both teams are friends, no rivalry, just friends :D
