The final day of the Blue Bracket in Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Season 5 has been played out, and NiP Gaming is the team to advance to the LAN finals after managing to beat Team SoloMid and HellRaisers. It's been a long night for the Swedes, and this is how it all went down.
When HellRaisers, with their new recruit Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný having a fantastic performance, won the following pistol round, things looked grim for the Swedes. However, Adam "friberg" Friberg with a Tec-9 in hand stepped it up for his team, getting an ace with a 1vs3 win to get them back on track. Following this, rounds went both ways until NiP stabilized their play, eventually winning the map 16-13.
Overpass was HellRaisers' choice of map, meaning the upcoming Inferno was picked by NiP Gaming. This really did show when NiP, in spite of losing the pistol round, grabbed eleven rounds as the defending team. With the massive lead, winning the pistol round pretty much secured their win, and they moved on to the bracket finals with a 16-4 map score and 2-0 in the series.

The match opened up on Dust2, which was NiP's choice of map. It was TSM that got the opening points, but were matched by their opponents. The opening 0-0 became 2-2 which then became 5-5 before NiP started stringing rounds together. In the end of the half, the Swedish team had a 10-5 lead, and also won the following pistol round. At this point, TSM won a pistol buy round which eventually led them to evening the score out at 12-12. Not only did they reach the same amount of rounds as their opponents, but surpassed it and eventually took a 16-13 win in the opening map.
After losing their choice of map, NiP really had to bring their A game on the following Cache. There, as the CT side, they opened up great by winning the pistol round and the following two rounds. However, TSM answered by winning five rounds in a row to take the lead. That streak was then answered with five round wins from NiP, taking back the lead. The half time score was 9-6 in favour of the Swedes.
When it was time for the second pistol round, NiP once again proved their worth by extending their lead. Though Nicolai "device" Reedtz showed a great deagle ace to try to regain some control of the map. Great effort, but not enough when NiP stringed enough rounds together to take the map win and force the series to a decider.
The series' finisher was Inferno, a map known to be great for both teams. This time, Team SoloMid won the opening pistol round as the terrorist team, but didn't get more than a 3-0 lead before NiP started racking up the points. The rounds went eventy up to a 8-7 result, in favor of the Danes, in half time. As the terrorist team, NiP really proved they can play a world class Inferno game, and eventually won the map with a 16-9 result.
