After two thrilling matches, Group B has next to settled, with only the consolidation match left to be played. Last night saw FlipSid3 Tactics get eliminated in a surprisingly one-sided loss against the qualified team nEophyte. The latter mentioned Slovakian team picked up the first map, Cache, with a convincing 16-3 result, and a follow-up 16-5 win on Mirage. This means FlipSid3 have been eliminated, while nEophyte live on to the consolidation stage.

In the group finale, played between the group favourite EnVyUs and the Norwegian team LGB eSports, the Norwegians surprised most of the viewers by defeating the season 3 runner-up with 16-8 on the opening map, Overpass. Even though EnVyUs got their revenge with a mirrorized score on the following Inferno, LGB still managed to go out ahead with a strong 16-6 performance on Cache. In other words, LGB eSports join Natus Vincere in the upper bracket of Fragbite Masters, while EnVyUs will have to play against nEophyte in the consolidation stage at a later stage.

Virtus.pro, Titan, HellRaisers and CPLAY tonight

This takes us further in the tournament, as Group C will kick off tonight. You could say this is one of the more star-studded groups, as Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas' major-winning quintette in Virtus.pro will take part, as well as the youngster superstar Kenny "kennyS" Schrub's Titan. You should not forget about the HellRaisers, which was founded around Eastern European superstars, as well as Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's CPLAY. The latter managed to qualify through the first of the two qualifiers, beating teams like Property, Orbit and Acer.



The matches will start at 18:00 CEST, where Virtus.pro and CPLAY start off the night. That best-of-three will be followed by the Titan and HellRaisers clash. These two matches will be the only ones played today, as the second part of the group is scheduled to take place on Tuesday next week, the 12th of May.
