Yesterday we learned that Team Dignitas took the first place spot in Group B of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem. Tonight, it's settled that mousesports advance to the Upper Bracket together with the Danes after a solid 2-0 win against the Game Show League winners of Na`Vi.
Tonight's best of three match that decided who was joining Team Dignitas and the others in the Upper Bracket was played between mousesports and Na`Vi. The latter recently won the Moscow event Game Show League, but tonight was mousesports' night in terms of Fragbite Masters. On Mirage, they quickly got a good start and eventually had a 9-6 lead in half time. After then winning the pistol round, and also a couple of important weapon rounds thanks to Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, mousesports took the 1-0 lead with a 16-9 result.
The second map was the fairly new Overpass, where mousesports started as the charging team. They proved that their AK's were just as good as their M4's, and got a 10-5 lead going into half time. These rounds were proven to be enough for the European mixture to take the win, as they got six of the eleven rounds played in the second half, meaning 16-10 and a 2-0 win.
The next group will be the star-studded Group C, with some really interesting teams in it. The Swedish sides of fnatic and Team Property will play in the first round, and a nail-biting game between Epsilon and HellRaisers will follow. This group will be played on Wednesday and Thursday in the upcoming week, so keep your eyes open!
