How do you feel going into the 2015 Spring Split? You’ve had your fair share of play in the LCS with this being your third split, but do you feel that you’re on another level altogether in terms of confidence in your own play and your team now going into 2015?

I am quite confident in my own ability coming into the split and I feel pretty good over all about how we are improving. We are pretty confident coming into the first week and we hope to take 2 wins. I think the level of competition is higher this year and it is going to be interesting to see who can play the metagame better than others.

You became the player to watch for SK-fans in 2014 as you managed to assume the position of the best toplaner in Europe, surpassing players like Wickd and Kev1n by far in terms of individual performances. What aspects of playing top do you handle differently from the previous people who held on to that title, and how did you eventually come to surpass them?

I try to play as aggressively as possible and try to push each champion that I play to it's limits. I personally don't think that I'm outstanding in any way, I just try to put as much pressure on my lane as possible. Since it's a different meta now, I have to prove myself and maintain my title. A new meta will always be good for certain players, I can't wait to face the new competition.

LIkewise, your champion pool proved to be one of your strongest assets, with pocket picks such as Aatrox even led to bans against them in Worlds versus teams like Starhorn. Will these pocket picks still be something you aim to continue with in the upcoming split, and is there a specific off-meta champion you’vebeen planning on debuting?

Due to the drastic change in the metagame, I'm focusing on the meta champs at the moment and trying to perfect them, however I feel like I can come back to the "pocket" picks at anytime should it suit the moment.

Some fans would argue that the unfortunate situation that occurred for you during the Worlds group stage was the biggest disappointment out of all the results at the event. Obviously you’re still keeping Svenskeren on the team following the incident and the unfortunate last-place finish, so I am curious how you as a team coped following the performance, and if there was ever a doubt of not continuing with Svenskeren following the occurence.

The whole situation was disappointing, but there is no point holding a grudge against someone who was one of the main reasons we got that far in the first place and as previously mentioned, there wasn't malice or bad intent in his actions and I say this as someone who knows him personally having played with him for over a year prior to the incident. The whole situation was unfortunate but it was also a big learning curve for the team and Svenskeren himself.

Many would say that the skill-disparity between the two halves of the map for SK in the previous split was heavily stacked in the top-sides favor with you and Svenskeren being seen as the best players in the team individually. Do you think fans will keep on sharing that sentiment now after the addition of Forgiven and Fox?

I think we will be more aggressive on the bottom side of the map than before, particularly with Forg1ven in the team. We haven't tested ourselves in an LCS enviornment so I'm not exactly sure how the fans will see us. Svenskeren and myself will keep doing what we do and we hope that everyone will enjoy watching the team play this year.

In a few short words, describe each of your new additions and what they’re able to contribute in comparison to their previous counterparts on the roster.

They'll both offer more aggression, which can be both good and bad however they hope to provide good consistent performances.

After having finished 3rd in the previous Summer Split, will SK only keep going up now with the revamped roster, and who do you see as your main competition in the Spring Split?

It's hard to tell at this point because the teams are much closer skill-wise but I expect ROCCAT and Elements to be our toughest competition this Split.
