After a month filled with CS:GO games, we have reached the Crème de la Crème! The grand final of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem, the final match of the tournament, between the two teams showing the highest level of skill at this very moment. The teams fighting are Dignitas of Denmark and the French-Belgian team Titan, where the Danish team start off with a 1-0 lead as a reward for not losing a single game in the playoffs.
Interestingly enough, these two teams shared group in the group stage of Fragbite Masters. There, dignitas got the best of Titan as they won the best of one meeting with 16-11. Both teams advanced to the upper bracket, though, but Dignitas with a slightly higher seed.
Both teams won the first round of the playoffs. Dignitas managed to beat k1ck with a 2-1 score as Titan managed to 2-0 one of the tournament favorites, NiP Gaming. That round was followed by a loss for Titan, as they were bested by Virtus.pro in a series ending with a huge comeback from the polish team. In the same round, dignitas once again advanced after a 2-1 win, this time against LDLC.com.
In the lower bracket, Titan soldier'd on. First they managed to beat Fnatic with a comfortable score, to then advance to the lower bracket final against their countrymen of LDLC.com. They, just barely, won that game. At the same time, Dignitas stood for a semi-upset against Virtus.pro as they beat the poles 2-0. A rematch between Titan and the Polish team then waited, but this time Titan didn't lose their advantages as they took down Virtus.pro with a 2-0 score to advance to the grand final, where Dignitas waits.
Now you know the story of how these two teams were able to reach the grand final of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem. Make sure you get to experience the last chapter tonight, as these two teams now fight in a best of five to see who gets the 60 000 SEK! It will all be shown on stream, commentated by Anders Blume and Auguste "Semmler" Massonnat. The whole thing will kick off at approximately 19:30 CET!
