StarCraft 2

StarCraft II a part of Fragbite Masters 2014

1
We are glad to announce StarCraft II as the third and final title for Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem.
Today we can finally announce the third and final title for the second season of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem. The game is no less than Blizzard's massive RTS-hit StarCraft II, which will have a 160 000 SEK, approximately 17 000 euro, prize pool. The game was also was a part of the previous season, where the Korean Protoss player Son "StarDust" Seok Hee managed to clinch the title.

Take the opportunity to play against top players

Just like last year, there is a possibility for anyone to compete in the StarCraft II tournament. All you have to do is to win one of our four qualifiers, which are held prior to the main tournament. If you manage to win, you'll be joining the twelve directly invited players, as well as the other qualified players, for the group stage.

The main-tournament format

Even if you don't finish on top in the group stage, your journey will continue as the play-offs are played double elimination with the bottom finishers of the group stage starting in the lower bracket. If you manage to qualify, technically you have a 50 percent change of winning money as the top eight finishers are eligible a sum from the prize pool.

18 000 euro to the top finishers

The better half of the tournament will not finish empty handed, as the prize pool stretches over the top eight players. The winner will, just like like StarDust experienced in the last season, get 80 000 SEK, approximately 9 000 euro. If you drop your eyes a couple of pixels, you can see the prize distribution.
