I lördags kunde ni läsa om KottenX:s tankar om LCS-splitten och framtiden, igår om Jankos, och idag bjuder vi på SK Gamings Dennis "Svenskeren" Johnsen. Han känner bland annat att laget borde tränat mer men att de är nöjda med sin insats i spliten ändå. Dessutom får vi reda på varför han kallar sig själv för Svenskeren när han egentligen är Dansk.

Congratulations on making it to the playoffs! How do you feel that the split went for you and your team?

It started really good but then when we were on second spot we didn't try as hard anymore. That came back hard on us as you can see in our later games. We had a really hard time with the 5 games losing spree and but we managed to end at 4th spot. Now we have to go in stronger to playoffs and get one of those three spots.

A lot of teams this season have made some roster changes but you have stayed strong with yours. Why have kept the same roster?

The new line-up was still kinda new, we only played one split together and we managed to get stronger and stronger. Sadly we lost to Fnatic in the final but we were still happy about our performance over all. We didn't feel like we had to change any player because we were doing good.

Looking back at SK:s season over all, you were in the second in the first half of the season but now you guys have been dropped down. Why is that?

The other teams got better and we got too confident on our second spot and that made us not try as hard as we usually do.
After we started to lose a lot we went back to our schedule and practiced a lot more.

If you look back, what could you and your team done better?

More practice.

If you need to highlight one of your teammates and give him extra cred, who would it be and why?

Fredy, he can shave off his beard in the morning and in the night its back.

It's just a few days left until the playoffs start, what do you think about your chances?

I hope that we can make it to worlds. If we just play like we do in scrims and last games in LCS I think we can make it.

If you need to predict the winner and you can’t choose your own team, who will win the whole split, and why?

I think Fnatic will win the final this split again because of their strong botlane.

Last question: Why Svenskeren but not Danskeren? How come?

I got this question so many times now, haha. I wanted Danskeren but it was already taken, so i choosed the closest to the name which is Svenskeren.
