What will your lineup during CPL Winter look like?



[9]fisker: ahl, fisker, Filur, ScreaM and SpawN.

SK|HeatoN: HeatoN, Medion, Potti, brunk and Bengan.

esu|Swift: Swift, vesslan, quick, logic, Notorious and Venom.

GoL|mysse: mysse, element, VicoN, Hyb, Souledge.

eoL.Naikon: Damien, DarK, knoxville, XeqtR and me.

[DoP]-jako: Good question. I really can't say anything about that right now.



Which place are you aiming at? What place do you think you'll end up on?



[9]fisker: If we practise and prepare ourselves as we should, we're going to end up 1st.

SK|HeatoN: Our goal is of course to win and I think we can win if we aren't having a bad day.

esu|Swift: Our goal is of course to win the tournament, hard to speculate in which place you're ending upon when you have that as a goal, so we'll just have to wait and see :p.

GoL|mysse: We aim for top3 and i hope we'll end up in top3 :P.

eoL.Naikon: We are aiming at the number 1 spot, but top 3 would be ok. Since we have won two tournaments in a row now I see our chance of winning again as pretty big. Might be my big money needs talking now, but we're gonna win lalalalalalalalala....

[DoP]-jako: We're aiming at top 3. I think we'll end up on any one of those.



How have your team prepared for the CPL Winter?



[9]fisker: We haven't started yet, we have just had 4-5 pcw so far but we're starting on saturday(7/12 -velox) and after that it's full throttle every day!

SK|HeatoN: We have played 6-7 hours a day every day except one, since we got the new team. There will also be a couple of days laning before we leave.

esu|Swift: We have practiced from are3na cafe, against the best resistance, tried to find the teamplay on those weeks we've had with the new lineup. We're going to go to Dallas a little bit earlier to play against riotsquad, to be as prepared as possible for the competition.

GoL|mysse: Oh well, not good. Vicon has examns in school and we have had computer problems etc. But we are gonna start praccin in the upcoming days.

eoL.Naikon We have 2-3 pcw's each night (not saturdays). Since we don't have any money or sponsors we can't afford bootcamp at the moment so we have to prepare online. If we don't win we know what we have to do next time right? :)

[DoP]-jako: There were small periods of extreme inactivity but overall i think we've prepared well enough for this cpl.



Who do you think pose your biggest threat?



[9]fisker: That'll be eoL :).

SK|HeatoN: eoL and team9 is always hard to fight.

esu|Swift: There are so many teams now that is about on the same level, so there are several as SK,team9,GoL,eoL, but i think eoL is the biggest threat.

GoL|mysse: eolithic for sure.. really hope we dont have to see them at any point unless in the final ;).. they are extremely good.. my favourite for number 1 spot if we dont win :).

eoL.Naikon: GoL, SK, team9 and esu.

[DoP]-jako: I think eoL will be the team to beat. But this time it's time for me to make a video of killing element all the time.



What are your strengths/weaknesses?



[9]fisker: Our strengths is our quick play i think, the weakness is that abdi is so ugly you laughs your ass off every time you look at him.

SK|HeatoN: Motivated, the skill, communication, don't know any weaknesses really.

esu|Swift: Our strength is our experience, skill and teamplay (when everything goes as planned :P), we often manage to perform well during tough games. Our weakness is the aim sometimes, and that we have too uneven results which means that we don't always feel 100% before events, we can be crazy one day and on the other day play poorly.

GoL|mysse: I dunno.. we look damn good thats our strenght and weakness, hmm i dunno :P.

eoL.Naikon: We lose to many gunrounds. Our strength is that grunrounds are the only thing we lose :)).

[DoP]-jako: One of our weakenesses is our sort of inconsistent lineup for scrimming and playing matches. But usually any lineup get's the job done, so that's a strength.



Have you been practising de_clan1_mill? If not, are you going to?



[9]fisker: Hehe, we haven't practised that map, but we are still kinda good at it :D. Like it was in Oslo, 4 of us hadn't even seen the map so we borrowed a computer, checked some tactics etc, and went for it, and it worked terrific, almost crushed iddqd on it so we were pretty satisfied :D.

SK|HeatoN: Hehe no we haven't played it yet, we will do so a couple of times before the event though.

esu|Swift: Yes we have practised it once :P. The hard thing is to know where you can expect enemies etc.

GoL|mysse: Nope we haven't and yes we are gonna prac it :>.



How do you feel about de_prodigy being removed from the mapcycle?



[9]fisker: I think it's sad, but i think the rest of the clan is agreed on that it was like christmas when it was removed :D.

SK|HeatoN: I found it great for us as a team, because that is the only map we haven't practiced together with mill, sad for me though since it is my favourite map ;).

esu|Swift: For myself it's very nice, i despise everything that have anything to do with the map. Boring, onesided and uneven :p.

GoL|mysse: I think it's bad, prodigy is one of our best maps maybe the best..but well guess its cos USA clans havent been playing it. Would be a typical CPL move :P.

eoL.Naikon: One of my few eco maps :\\ , but besides that i'm glad it's removed. You can't make any tactics as terrorist that actually work.

[DoP]-jako: Love it, best move possible.



Which is your strongest map?



[9]fisker: Don't really know actually, we are rather even on every maps. Maybe inferno but we'll have to see how it is after we've gone through tactics and things :).

SK|HeatoN: No comments ;).

esu|Swift: Cbble or train.

eoL.Naikon: De_train.

[DoP]-jako: We are very good on dust2, and our nuke is farely strong. Inferno is in the process, close to being there when we communicate more.



Is there any map that you're not particularly good at?



[9]fisker: Naw i don't think so, train was a little rusty a while but we're getting to fix that now!

SK|HeatoN: No comments!

esu|Swift: We have played aztec that much, we have to get 100 times better on that one before Dallas.

GoL|mysse: Nope there aint as far as i know.. we are neutral on all maps but we are gonna work on all maps now.

eoL.Naikon: Hm, clan_mill and we need to work some more on de_nuke.

[DoP]-jako: Our train has been week as of late, but no worries really.



What is your take on the switch between de_nuke and de_dust2 as the final-map?



[9]fisker: Wonderful! We feel better on dust2 than nuke however :).

SK|HeatoN: Always fun to play a final on dust2, nuke is starting to get tedious.

esu|Swift: It's not important for me, I think both of the maps are really well made and fun to play, it really forces the teams to their limits, which leads to very interesting matches.

GoL|mysse What? Is de_dust2 the final map? :P aa well we dont mind i guess dust2 is a good map for us so, but nuke pwns in finals.

eoL.Naikon: I think it's a good choice. De_dust2 is probably the map that needs the most teamplay and skill to control. And gunrounds aren't that deciding.

[DoP]-jako: Don't really care.



Do you think Europe will dominate this CPL as they have the past ones?



[9]fisker: I sure do.

SK|HeatoN: Of course.

esu|Swift: Yes I think so, if not the whole USA have done a huge recovery. You never know, maybe they have watched plenty of demos and learned from their flaws that many of their teams had.

GoL|mysse: Yeah i do, or not Europe, Scandinavia will rock.

eoL.Naikon: Yes of course. 3D were supposed to be good, but wcg didn't actually impress me. And from what i've seen from the other teams Europe have nothing to worry about.

[DoP]-jako: I don't think Europe will take all top3 spots.



Top 5 in Dallas will be...?



[9]fisker: eoL, team9, esu, SK, GoL (no order).

SK|HeatoN: SK, eol , team9, 3d , mtw.de.

esu|Swift: esu, eol, sk, team9, gol.

GoL|mysse: eol, esu, sk, gol, team9. Don't know which order :).

eoL.Naikon: 1. eoL, 2. GoL, 3. team9, 4. SK, 5. esu

esu|Swift: Haven't visited the site that much, but I followed the CPL qualifications in England that you had and I thought you made a good job, so I've started stopping by sometimes :p.
