Here are the invites for Fragbite Masters Season 4

8
With the CS:GO section of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem approaching quickly, we present the twelve invited teams as well as a new way of deciding the groups for the fourth edition of the tournament.
The StarCraft II portion of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Season 4 is reaching its conclusion, meaning we're only days away from the highly anticipated Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. As previously announced, the tournament will offer a 500,000 SEK prize pool and an additional 60,000 SEK in travel support for the LAN finals. On top of this, the beloved 25,000 SEK Com Hem Play of the Day competition will make its return.

With only six days remaining until the first qualifier, we're happy to announce the invited teams for the upcoming tournament. Happily, all four finalists from the previous season — fnatic, EnVyUs, Virtus.pro and Team SoloMid — have accepted their respective invites.

fnatic, the Fragbite Masters titleholders, will be playing the fourth season as well.

On top of the teams mentioned above, the Eastern European trio of FlipSid3 Tactics, Natus Vincere and HellRaisers will take part of the upcoming season. Also, the French-based team Titan, the Portuguese quintette in k1ck as well as the Norwegian-Swedish LGB eSports will participate. Last, but not least, PENTA Sports and mousesports round up the list.

As you can see above, only 75 percent of the participant's list has been filled. On top of the names mentioned, a total of four teams will qualify for the tournament through two separate online qualifiers. More information about this will be presented in due time.

An odd — but awesome — way of deciding the groups

In the previous seasons, the participant's list has been divided into four seed tiers that was randomly put into different groups. For this edition of the tournament, we've decided to only seed the top four teams of the previous season for, what we like to call it, a Group Draft, which is quite unique for CS:GO.

The seeded teams are fnatic, EnVyUs, Virtus.pro and Team SoloMid, and they will be picking their opponents for the group stage. In other words, fnatic will get to pick the first team to share their group with, while the second seeded EnVyUs will get to pick next, followed by Virtus.pro picking, and TSM making their choice as number four. This goes on for three drafting rounds, which essentially means said teams seed the opponents from the bottom up by the order of their picks.

This being said, it's safe to say that we all have a lot to look forward to. Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming CS:GO tournament, such as the qualifiers, the groups, full format, detailed schedule and more!
