The match we've all been waiting for is finally here; the grand-final of the Fragleague Top Divsion. It's Finnish side SJ who will face off against the Swedes of Galaxy Racer. Both teams certainly earn to be in this final, after showing off really dominating form both in the group stage and in the playoffs.
SJ have had a bit rougher road to the final. In the quarter-final they played against DREAM, a game they after some bumps managed to come out on top with a 2-1 victory. In the semi-finals the Finns was matched up against Lilmix. Also this was a close one, with SJ beating the Swedes 2-1, after some great plays especially from BONA. This is what arvid had to say about the upcoming grand-final:
"Galaxy Racer is a great team but we're confident going in to the final. Last time we had a really tight match against them but lost so we're hoping to get a win this time.
Galaxy Racer who went unbeaten out of the group stage qualified directly for the semi-final, where they got to play against Nyyrikki Esports. Galaxy Racer was the better team from start to finish, and proved once again why they are the favorites to take home the title this season. Star player joel commented like this on the impending final:
"We have faced SJ multiple times over the current season and always come out on top. We expect them to have done their homework and be prepared. We have recently seen good success and beaten a couple of really good teams. So we expect to win 2-0."
