Week two of the Nordic PUBG Division of Fragleague Season 6 is on the horizon. In week one we saw Kitchen start off strong, as well as the Finnish teams overall. Two teams that had a particularly good week was Diskvalificeret and YMCA Esports. The first one had a really strong showing in their first week in the Top Division and is now sitting in second place after some impressive fragging. Even though they didn’t manage to claim their first chicken dinner in the first week, they came close multiple times, finishing on a second, third and fourth place in three of the games.
YMCA Esports on the other hand, managed to claim their first chicken dinner in just three games in the Top Division, which put them on a third place on the leaderboard.
– I think that we are pretty good at the moment, we have a lot of confidence and we have good chemistry and spirit within the team. When we grabbed the win in the Miramar match, I think our coms were calm and clear, we knew what we were doing and how we can keep our splits and what we have to do in the last fight versus Kitchen, says Zoon from YMCA Esports.
The two other newcomers in the Nordic Top Division; FAKKAUR from the Swedish Division and Norsemen Hkraft from the Norwegian Division, both had some rough games and both ended up at the bottom part of the leaderboard. The Swedish team, FAKKAUR, only managed to grab eight points in the first week and is currently sitting in last place, but it is still four weeks left to recover and grab a spot in the Top Division Playoff.
– In my opinion, this is without a doubt the most stacked season of Fragleague, but I am still very disappointed in our performance, especially in my own. There were some sloppy mistakes that cost us in important scenarios. But it's only the first week and I think top eight won't be a problem in the end, because I know we can perform a lot better than what we showed, even against teams at this level, Sammorack from FAKKAUR explains.
