The first map of the day was Mirage. started good on their own map pick. The finnish side took four fast rounds before got themselves in the game. SJ continued playing very well and made a few mistakes. 10-5 to SJ before half time. The finns took the second pistol round of the map before Lyngby Vikings started gathering rounds. The game got closer towards the end until SJ closed it down. 16-9 to SJ Gaming.
The second map of the day was Lyngbys map pick Inferno. The danes won the pistol round on the ct-side but SJ instantly responded with three quick rounds. Both teams then took turns in taking rounds of each other before Lyngby could close down their ct-side. Lyngby quickly went up to thirteen rounds after halftime and SJ did not want to be any worse. Both teams followed each other which led to over time.
The overtime started good with two teams that really wanted to win. Both teams played very stable and it was clear that no one wanted to make a mistake. The first overtime was a tie and therefore meant a second one. The second overtime was close as well, but SJ showed their patient ct-side which grabbed the win in the end 22-20 and 2-0 to SJ Gaming.
