Yesterday saw the Orange Bracket of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem kick off with a showmatch between mousesports and GreyFace, which the Swedish side managed to win, taking home 10,000 SEK (approximately 1,160 USD). That match was followed by a bracket opener between the former Copenhagen Wolves-inspired DenDD and the Norwegian team Lions.
The first of the three potential maps was Cache, where the Swedes started off defending. It wasn't a simple chore though, as the teams went side by side up to an 8-7 lead for DenDD in half time. The second half, where it was Lion's turn to defend, seemed stronger for the blue and yellow squad, who managed to win eight rounds in twelve tries, finishing the map 16-11.
Overpass was the second map, which, as opposed to the previous map, was picked by Lions. They did well, in spite of losing nine rounds while playing counter-terrorists. The match really went down to the wire, but the 30th round went DenDD's way, meaning they clinched the 2-0 win and thereby advance in the bracket.
Lions: ultra, base, spity, neto, Cyph
LDLC: Fuks, to1nou, matHEND, bodyy, DEVIL
As usual, this match will be streamed from the Fragbite Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. Once again, Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett will bring you the play-by-play casting together with the insights of Henry "HenryG" Greer. The stream channel will, like always, be FragbiteLive.
