As of Tuesday night, ten teams have secured a spot in the main tournament of Fragbite Masters powered by Com Hem Season 5. The two last spots were settled in two last chance matches that were arranged due to unforeseen slot openings in the participant's list.
The first of the two matches was the Swedish side Torpedo against the Norwegians of BX3. Train was the first map, and the Swedes got themselves eight rounds against seven as the offensive side, in spite of losing the pistol round. The strong performance continued over to the defending half for the Swedes, where they lost yet another pistol round, but still won all of the following rounds to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
The following map was Inferno, and the Norwegians continued to win pistol rounds. However, it didn't help much. The 3-0 lead quickly became a 6-9 deficit for the Norwegians, and when Torpedo's Samuel "decent" Oldenburg got four USP-S headshots in the following pistol round, things looked bleak for BX3. The Swedish side eventually won the map with 16-9 and went through to the main tournament with 2-0 in maps.

The second match was played between London Conspiracy and Orgless, formerly known as Team Orbit. The Norwegian-Swedish team used John "wenton" Eriksson a stand-in, but it didn't hinder them from taking the lead. On Dust2, London Conspiracy ran over their opponents, getting 11 rounds on their T side and finishing off the map with a comfortable 16-5. Things were about to turn around for the Hungarian opponents, though.
On the following map, Train, Orgless started off as CT and did so very well. The match started off pretty evenly, but Viktor "flash" Tamás Bea and his team mates ended the half with a 11-4 result. The Norwegian-Swedish team then won the following pistol round, but as soon as their opponents had a full arsenal, things went south. In the end, Orgless took the map 16-8 and forced the series to a third map.
Mirage was the deciding map, and Orgless started off great as CT, taking a big lead. Even though Pål "Polly" Kammen managed to clutch a 1vs4 situation with four AK headshots, London Conspiracy couldn't really get a hold of the game. The half time score was 11-4 in favour of Orgless, who then went on to win the last pistol round of the match, which lead to them winning the map 16-5 and the series 2-1.
Orgless: t3h f4rm3r, DeadFox, flash, NEY, Barcode
This means ten teams have qualified for the main tournament, where they will be face off against directly six invited teams. The invitees will be presented later in the week. The main tournament kicks off on Tuesday the 13th of October!
